Keeping a schedule of events and tasks can help you organize your day-to-day life.

There are many apps and tools to help you do it. Gmail is one.

Using the side panel of your Gmail account to keep track of your assignments, events, and tasks gives you a single place to check all of your important due dates.

If an assignment or other document is emailed to you, you can add any dates associated with it to your calendar, a task list, or both.

Keeping your schedule of due dates digitally is often more effective and efficient than using a paper planner.

In this lesson, you will: use your Gmail account to plan and track your events and tasks, add an event and due date to your calendar, create a new task list to document upcoming events and tasks you need to complete, format your task list by adding dates and times, And mark completed tasks in your list.
