In this video, you will add visual elements to your slides.
You have added text to your slides to tell your audience about your project.
You can make your slides even more effective by adding visual elements to them.
Visual elements you might add include,
These help show your audience the results of your project more vividly.
To begin, add images to your slides.
While not every slide needs an image,
you might choose slides where an image would support the project details in the text.
Then, choose an image to add.
You can add an image from your computer,
or from your Photos or Drive.
When you add an image, adjust the size so that it balances the text on the slide.
You want your audience to see the image clearly while still being able to read the text.
You can adjust the placement of your text boxes as well, so the entire slide looks organized.
You might have a photo or other visual element that you want to emphasize
or include as the focus of a slide.
For example, there may have been a moment in your group’s effort
that is an example of how you worked together to achieve your results.
For these images, add a new slide with a format that is specifically for the image.
Then, add and format the image you want to emphasize,
And add a caption to tell about the image.
If you do not have any images saved or you want to add one you do not have,
you can search the web to find them.
Review the search results,
and choose an image.
Make sure you have the right to use the image.
Then, add the image to your slide,
And format it.
Continue adding and formatting other images in your slides.
Show your audience as much of your project as you are able with the images you choose.
If you have a video you want to share, you can add a new slide to show it during your presentation.
You can add a video from your Drive or the web as well. Make sure you have the right to use the video.
The steps to add a video are much the same as the steps to adding an image.
If another member of your group will be adding the video at a later time,
you can include a note to show where it will go.
Now, it’s your turn:
Add three or more visual elements,
And format the visual elements.
