Transcript

In this lesson, you used a spreadsheet template to build a schedule for an important project to benefit your community. As you completed the lesson, you: Opened a schedule template in Google Sheets and renamed it, Set up your schedule by giving it a title and adjusting the template components for your specific project, Shared the schedule with your group and added instructions, Added at least 2 tasks, meetings, or other activities to the schedule, And added, responded to, and resolved comments in the schedule.

Schedules can be a helpful and sometimes essential part of any group project you do at school and work.

A digital template makes it easier to build a schedule, since you can keep much of the template design and formatting and adjust components for your specific project.

You can use a schedule for as long as a project lasts, adapting it to changes in the project, if necessary.

Since everyone is collaborating on the same digital document, you can be confident that dates and project details are current, and that everyone’s efforts are coordinated.
