In this video, you will brainstorm a list of classroom expectations with your group.

Everyone in your group should come up with at least one classroom expectation.

Respect everyone’s suggestions. Not everyone will always agree, but everyone’s ideas are important.

Feel free to discuss and decide which to include, but consider all ideas seriously.

To begin, open a new slide.

Title that slide “Brainstorming List.”

And begin typing your classroom expectations into the slide.

What kind of classroom do you want to have?

What do you want to make sure everyone gets out of being here?

What's important to you and to your classmates?

Think about whether your classroom expectations will work for everyone in your group and your class.

And make sure your expectations are fair, clear, and positive.

Each person in your group will be responsible for creating a slide for at least one of the expectations.

After you’ve completed your list, type each group member’s name next to an expectation.

Now share the presentation with the group.

First, type in the names of the other group members.

In order to share a project with others, select the permission you want them to have: Edit means the person you share with can make changes directly in your presentation, Comment allows them to make comments, but not change the presentation, And view lets them see your presentation only.

Since this is a group project, select “can edit.”

Then, return to your own computers to create your slide for the presentation.

Now, it’s your turn: Add a new slide and title it “Brainstorming List,” Have each group member come up with at least one classroom expectation, Type the expectations into the slide, Type a group member’s name next to each expectation, And share the presentation with the entire group.
