In this video, you will add an image -- or picture -- to your presentation.
The image will be a clue to the word.
To begin, select the new slide you just inserted.
Next, click on “Insert.”
Choose “Image,” then search the web.
Where it says “search for images,” type your spelling word.
Or, if you prefer, type a keyword that describes your picture clue.
For instance, if the spelling word is “brass,” you could search for an image of a brass instrument,
Or something made out of brass, such as a key.
The clue can be whatever you like -- just make sure it will lead to the correct spelling word.
Type your spelling word or keyword. Then press enter.
Scroll through the results, and choose an image.
Resize the image so it fits on your slide.
Hold down the shift key, then click and drag one of the corner handles.
Dragging the handle outward makes your image bigger; dragging it inward makes your image smaller.
Then, select the image and move it to where you want it to be on your slide.
Make sure to keep your own slides together. If you move your slide to the wrong place
by accident, click on your slide in the “filmstrip view” and drag it to where you want it to be.
Now, it’s your turn:
Insert an image by searching the web,
Resize the image by holding down the shift key and dragging,
And move the image.
