But did you know that you can also use a spreadsheet to create a fun word game that can help youbuild your vocabulary? In this lesson, you will create a word jumblegame using functions and formulas. This lesson uses Google Sheets, but you canapply these skills and concepts using any spreadsheet application.
As you complete this lesson, you will: Find a partner and create a new spreadsheet,Write a formula to create a random list of letters,Use the letters to form as many words as you can,And use a function to calculate your score.
To begin, choose a partner.
Your teacher may also assign you a partner. You and your partner will sit at separatecomputers, and play the game together using a shared spreadsheet.
To work on this lesson, both of you will need to sign in to your Google accounts.
Open a new tab in your browser, and navigate to Google.com. If you are not signed in,do so now.
If you do not have a Google account, pause the video and create one.
