Transcript

In this lesson, you will draw a simple diagram to illustrate a scientific concept you want to demonstrate.

It’s more important to be informative and accurate in a scientific diagram than to try to create an attractive illustration.

Diagrams help make concepts clearer and easier to understand for an audience and can be more effective in communicating information than just a written description.

They can also be a great tool for studying and making topics clear to yourself.

Depending on the topic you are studying and what your teacher assigns, scientific diagrams can be complex, or simple.

In this lesson, you will draw a diagram of the structure of a simple plant cell, but feel free to use any scientific topic for your diagram.

This lesson uses Google Drawings, but you could apply these skills and concepts in any drawing application or even on a piece of paper.
