In this lesson, you designed an infographic to visualize and communicate data related to a topic.

Infographics use images and text to communicate important facts or information in a visually interesting way.

Infographics are a useful way to share information digitally, across websites, social media, email, and online publications.

To create your infographic, you: Opened a new drawing.

Resized the page and added a background color.

Searched for credible, interesting facts online.

Added text boxes and icons.

And positioned and edited these elements.

You can apply many of these skills to other projects beyond the classroom.

For example, you could make an infographic about your community to share information with your neighbors or local leaders; about a career or a college to help plan your future; about a country you find interesting; or to present research to your boss.

You can also use an infographic to promote a community or family event online, or at work for social media, email, or print communications.

An infographic is a great way to make information more interesting and easier to understand.

Have fun exploring all the different uses for infographics and for Google Drawings!
