In this video, you will insert images and section backgrounds into your website.

Images add visual appeal to your website.

They can also help illustrate the text on each page and reinforce your website’s purpose.

To begin, add images to one of your website’s pages.

You can upload images from your computer or search for images on the internet.

Your images might show an example of the problem your project is trying to address, your group in action, or other images that encourage people to get involved with your project.

Make sure any images you select from the internet are free to use.

And if you upload personal images that include any identifiable people, make sure you have their permission to use their pictures on a public website.

Now add images to the other pages in your website.

Choose images that complement the text on each page and support your website’s purpose.

Be careful to choose images that don’t distract from the text.

The most important component on your website is the information people need to know.

Resize images as necessary.

Now add section backgrounds to fill up any remaining white space on the pages of your website.

You can select styles for your backgrounds, or images.
