6. Design a Poster About You Wrap-Up

Playback Speed:
Transcript

In this lesson, you designed a poster to help you share who you are visually -- in other words, your classmates can learn about you just by looking at what you created.

You included text and images, such as: Your name, Your favorite color, Your favorite food, Or something else that is special or important to you.

To do that, you learned how to use the application Google Drawings. You used the text box tool...

Font style, size, and color ...

Image search on the web ...

Resizing and moving around text and pictures...

And sharing your drawing with someone else.

In the future, you can use the digital skills you discovered when you want to: Design a poster for a book report, Make a get-well-soon card to email to a sick friend, Or create a sign to hang in your neighborhood about an event.

Have fun looking at all of the posters your classmates designed. Seeing what you have in common -- and what makes you different and special -- is a great way to get to know your new classmates!
