In this video, you will learn how to create your website using Google Sites.

To begin making your environmental site, return to your Google Drive and create a new website in Google Sites.

The example website in this video will encourage people to preserve a forest, but use the issue and action you decided on in the last video for your website.

Leave the tab with your document open so you can reference it as needed...

...or reopen it if you already closed it.

Next, title the website with the name of your environmental issue or something related to your issue.

Choose a theme for your website.

Experiment with different themes until you find one that best fits your issue and slogan’s tone and looks the way you want.

After you’ve chosen a website theme, you can adjust the colors and font style.

A font style is a specific text design.

You may want to choose colors that relate to your slogan, for example, green to represent a forest.

Now, select a header for your website.

Later on, this is where you will type your slogan.

Choose the header type that looks best with your slogan.

Finally, add a layout to your website to keep it neat and organized.

As you decide on a layout, remember that you want your site to be eye-catching and easy to read, without too much text.

Experiment with different layouts to decide which one will help you get your issue across the most clearly.
