In this lesson, you will create a digital form in Google Forms to take customer orders for an event like a school function or community fundraiser.

You will then link the form to your email account to receive notifications when people complete it.

A digital form allows you to perform a variety of tasks that require collecting data, such as: Small businesses and organizations can use a digital form to create and manage orders.

Using a digital form eliminates the need for pen and paper and allows people to respond to you at their convenience.

This lesson uses Google Forms, but you could apply these skills and concepts in any form creation application.

To work on this lesson, sign in to your Google account.

Open a new tab in your browser, and navigate to google.com If you are not signed in, do so now.

If you do not have a Google account, pause the video and create one now.

To begin, open your Google Drive.

Create a new Google Form and rename it.

Then, move on to the next video to add a description and choose a design for your form.
