You can use the logo you created in the main lesson for your website, social media page, or school projects.

Or, you can explore other design options that will help you express yourself more.

In this extension, you will explore different visual effects for your logo, such as Word Art, adding an image, and more.

To complete this extension, you will: Change your logo’s shape and color, Insert Word Art, Add color to your Word Art, Add an image, And change the border color.

To begin, make a copy of your drawing and give it a title.

The first visual effect you may want to change is your logo’s shape.

Return to the list you created in the main lesson and decide if there is another shape that matches one of your words or phrases.

Then, decide if you want to change the color of your logo to fit your new shape.

If you added other shapes in the main lesson, decide where you will place them in your new logo.

Next, experiment with using Word Art for some or all of your text.

Word Art combines text with other visual effects, like color, to allow you to express yourself more.

Delete the text where you want to use Word Art.

Then, insert it again using Word Art.

If necessary, resize or reposition your Word Art to fit it into your logo.

Change your Word Art text to a font that reflects your personality.

Next, add color to your Word Art.

Choose a color to make your letters stand out or one that’s meaningful to you.

If you wish, add more Word Art to the text in your logo or just adjust the text so everything is aligned.

Now, consider adding an image to your logo to customize the message you want to send.

Search the web for an image and make sure you have permission to use that image.

Move the image to where you want it inside or outside of your logo and adjust its size.

If you wish, change other visual effects, like the border color, to complement your new logo.
