In this video, you will create a table and add a list of characters from the book you chose to the table.

Most books contain a protagonist, or main character, and a number of supporting characters.

Your list should include the more important supporting characters because they have an impact on the plot and the protagonist.

To begin, add the title of the book at the top of your document.

Then, add the author as a subtitle.

Format your title and author to make them stand out clearly.

Next, add a table.

Using a table can help you organize the details as you analyze characters and create your cast list.

For this lesson, the table will have six rows and five columns.

Each row will be for one important character from the book and each column will share a detail about the character or your cast list.

You can customize your table for your own project.

For example, if you have a different number of characters, you can add or delete rows.

Your table should include rows for at least two characters.

Change the orientation of your page to landscape.

This will provide more room for the information in your table.

Next, label the first column “Characters.”

Use this column to make a list of the important individuals in your story.

Begin with the protagonist.

Then, add the names of other supporting characters who influence the protagonist or plot in a significant way.

Now, it’s your turn: Add and format the title and author, Insert a table with at least two rows, Change the page orientation, Add a heading to the first column, And add the list of characters to the first column.
