While the movie versions of books do not always follow every detail in the story, the actors do try to recreate the characters and their traits on screen. Certain characters in your book may remind you of someone you know, such as a family member or friend.

In this video, you will cast people you know as actors in a movie version of your book.

To begin, label the fourth column in your table.

Look at the traits for each character you listed. Think about people you know who share the same or similar traits. Focus on personality traits instead of any physical characteristics that might match. Then, add the name of a person who reminds you of the protagonist to the table.

Next, label the last column in your table.

And add a brief explanation stating why you chose this person to represent the character you matched them with.

Make all the column headings bold and centered to emphasize them, And adjust the column widths again if you need to.

Continue casting your imaginary movie with friends, family, teachers, or anyone else who you know. You can even cast yourself if a character has traits similar to yours.
