First, add your event.
View your calendar by month to make it easy to find the date.
You may have already selected a date in a previous activity, if not, choose one now.
Enter the name of the event.
The event will default to your personal calendar.
Instead, add the event to your group calendar.
Then, edit the event to add additional details.
Here you can change the date and duration of the event; and add a location, description,
Deselect “all day” and specify the start and end time of the event.
Add a description.
Attach the to-do list from your Drive.
Invite your team members to the event so they have the option to accept or decline the invitation.
Type in your group members’ email addresses under "guests"
Modify additional details if you’d like.
Then, save it.
Click “send” to email invitations to your guests.
Your event appears.
Add an additional event to your calendar.
Perhaps you’d like to add a meeting to plan your event.
Or maybe you want to meet to create posters or distribute flyers.
Select a date and schedule the event.
You can attach your event plan or another Google Document
where your group can collect ideas.
You can even add a link to a video call, so your planning committee can video conference
rather than meet face to face.
Remember to invite your group members.
Save the event.
Add other events to your calendar if you’d like.
You could even add the tasks from your to-do list to keep track of deadlines.
Once you’ve added your event and at least one other meeting to your event calendar,
move on to the next video to email your team about event plans.
Now, it’s your turn: Create at least two events on your event calendar.
Edit the event details, like the time, location, or description.
Invite your team members.
Attach your to-do list spreadsheet.
