In the previous video, you learned about giving and receiving feedback and created a new document
in Google Docs.
In this video, you will add text and, if you like, an image, to your invitation.
This video uses a retirement party invitation as an example.
You will work on your own invitation.
Don’t spend more than five minutes putting together your invitation.
It is okay if it is a rough draft or has mistakes.
This will allow your partner to practice giving useful feedback.
To start, click in your document to type.
Then, write the text for your invitation.
The retirement party example has a descriptive title at the top.
It also includes details about the party, including the “when,” “where,” and
It specifies who people should RSVP to.
If you like, include an image in your invitation that helps communicate your document’s purpose
to its audience.
You can search the internet for an image, but select one that is free to use.
When you are done, move on to the next video to ask for feedback.
Now, it’s your turn: Add text to your invitation.
And add an image, if you like.
