For most people, when they want to capture a moment, they take a picture.

Taking photos can be fun if it’s for an event like a birthday party or vacation.

And sometimes it’s necessary for work and other life events.

For example, if you get into a car accident or there's damage to your home, you will need to take photos for your insurance company.

Whether you’re taking photos of everyday moments or specific events in your life, organizing your photos makes them easier to find.

Using digital tools like Google Photos helps you organize your photos and easily access them from any device because everything is stored online. In this lesson, you will use Google Photos, a storage app on your Google account made for photos and videos. It automatically organizes photos for you and allows you to edit them, make creative projects and share them with others.

As you complete this project in Google Photos, you will: Take and upload photos, Organize and edit your photos, Create an album, And share your album.

To work on this lesson, sign in to your Google account.

Open a new tab in your browser, and navigate to Google dot com.

If you are not signed in, do so now.

If you do not have a Google account, pause the video and create one.

To begin, open Google Photos in your browser.

Then, move on to the next video to begin adding photos.
