In this video, you will share your weekly meal plan with a partner to tell them about the cooking tasks that you assigned them.

Your partner could be an actual member of your household that you listed in your meal plan.

Or, if you are working on this lesson at school, choose a classmate or your teacher as your partner.

If you’re not sure who to share with, ask your teacher.

Open your share settings and add your partner’s email address.

Then, select the permission you want to use: Edit means the person you share with can make changes directly in your spreadsheet.

Comment allows them to make comments, but not change the spreadsheet.

And View lets them see your spreadsheet only.

For this lesson, you will give them access to edit your spreadsheet.

Write a note to explain the assignments.

If you are working on your own, explain the project to a real household member.

If you are working on this lesson in class, assign your partner a role as a household member.

Ask them to find their meal assignments.

Let them know they can add a different meal if they want.

Be sure to thank them for helping you with your project.

Notify your partner about the plan.

Then share it!

Your partner will receive an email with your note and a way to access your spreadsheet.
