If you work remotely, or if your team is based in multiple locations, video conferencing can help you connect and collaborate. A video conference is a digital meeting.

If you need to communicate with people in different locations at the same time, video conferencing helps you connect. Using your computer or mobile device, you can have face to face meetings with coworkers and business partners who are not located in the same place as you.

Google Meet is a video conferencing tool that allows you to have these voice and video conversations.

This web-based application uses the camera and microphone on your device to connect you to a video conference -- no special equipment required.

Your video conference will be encrypted to keep your conversation secure.

You can join a Google Meet video call by connecting through the internet or calling in over the phone.

In this lesson, you will: Start, schedule, and join a new meeting, Manage audio, camera, and caption settings, and give a presentation in a video conference.
