In this extension, you will share your CV with a partner.
This is the first step to giving and receiving feedback.
Giving and receiving feedback is an important part of the editing process.
Other people can help you make your CV better and see mistakes that you may not notice,
and you can do the same for them.
To share your CV with a partner, you will: Find a partner in your class,
Exchange email addresses, Select sharing options,
And email your CV to your partner.
To begin, open your CV.
Find a partner in class to share your CV with.
If you do not have a partner, you can share your CV with a friend or family member.
Then, exchange email addresses.
In the document, click “Share”
... and type in your partner’s email address.
Select the permission you want to use:
“Edit” means the person you share with can make changes directly in your document.
“Comment” allows them to make comments, but not change your CV.
And “view” lets them see your CV only.
Choose “Comment” so your partner can make comments on your document.
Write a note to your partner to ask for specific feedback.
Once your partner has shared their CV with you, open it up.
From a new tab or window, open Google Drive.
Then, look in your shared files for your partner’s CV.
Good job!
You are now ready to give and receive feedback.
Now, it’s your turn: Find a partner,
