Digital collaboration tools improve your connection to your coworkers, especially if you work from home or all work in different locations. “Digital collaboration” is using technology to help people work together effectively, even if they are in different physical locations.

Digital collaboration tools can help you connect with others, make your team more efficient and productive, and help you achieve business objectives.

In this lesson, you will choose a skill to learn: Direct message someone through Google Chat, Use comments in Google Docs, Set up a shared folder in Google Drive Schedule a meeting with Google Calendar Or, Attend a video conference in Google Meet.

This lesson uses Google applications, but you could apply these skills and concepts in many different digital collaboration tools. To work on this lesson, sign in to your Google account. Open a new tab in your browser, and navigate to Google.com. If you are not signed in, do so now.

If you do not have a Google account, pause the video and create one now.

Choose the digital collaboration skill you would like to learn: Direct message someone through Google Chat, Use comments in Google Docs, Set up a shared folder in Google Drive, Or schedule a meeting in Google Calendar.

Then, move on to the video that teaches the digital collaboration skill you chose.
